Unlike local spots, Plitvice requires planning. Daily entry is limited. Golden Rule: Buy tickets ONLINE at least one day in advance for a specific time slot. Seasonality: Summer sees the biggest crowds and highest prices. Winter offers a frozen fairytale but upper lakes might be closed.
